Spring is here and with it comes a series of enticing new food menus from Marston’s.

To help build excitement around new dishes and boost footfall in our client’s estate of pubs, our social team’s been busy creating engaging video content for Facebook.

The results show that combining social content and targeting effectively can have a profound effect on sales.

One of the Marston’s brands, Generous George, launched its menu with some interesting new dishes, including ‘Monkey Fingers’ (actually chicken goujons in a variety of flavours).

This particular dish was supported with an animation, created and produced by Linney, and backed by paid media targeting on Facebook. Once the menu launched, five weeks’ worth of the product was sold in just one week.
